The O’Meara-Braggio Award
During the month of May 2024, Branch 11 club members are encouraged to participate in the O’Meara-Braggio Award using the special event callsign ZL100AC to make DX contacts.
This is to honour the centenary of the first trans-Pacific radio communication by Carlos Braggio (Buenos Aires) and Ivan O’Meara (Gisborne) in 1924. There is more information on a QRZ page here: https://www.qrz.com/db/zl100ac
